Melbourne Florida Causeway

The Melbourne Florida Causeway takes state road 192 over the Indian River and into the island community of Indialantic. This is the furthest south causeway in Brevard County. The next crossing south is the Sebastion bridge in neighboring Indian River County. To the north is the Eau Gallie Causeway, then the Pineda Causeway, and then a small jump to the 520 and 528 causeways in Cocoa.

Pair of American White Ibis

This is a pair of American White Ibis that I photographed in Viera Wetlands.

Tricolored Heron – 4k Wallpaper

The Tricolored Heron also known as the Egretta tricolor, and formerly was known in North America as the Louisiana Heron, is a small, beautiful heron.

This example was photographed in the Viera Wetlands and is seen perched on a deceased palm tree. This is significant because the Tricolore Heron nests in colonies, often with other herons, usually on platforms of sticks in trees or shrubs
